Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

2 lbs frozen corn
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons butter cut into cubes
8 ounces cream cheese cut into cubes
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup thinly sliced chives

  • Place the corn, sugar and salt into a slow cooker; stir to combine.
  • Pour the milk into the slow cooker, then arrange the pieces of butter and cream cheese on top of the corn.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-5 hours.
