Cloud Bread

4 eggs , separated
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
4 ounces cream cheese (see notes for substitution)
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
⅓ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon herbs (thyme or rosemary or Italian herbs )
1 teaspoon garlic

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Prepare 2 baking sheets by lining with parchment paper.
  • Have ready two medium mixing bowls. Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks and place in separate bowls.
  • Add cream of tartar to egg whites, using a hand mixer whisk egg whites on high until soft peaks form when the beater is raised.
