Slow Cooker Chicken Marsala


Ingredients:
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 cup marsala wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons chopped parsley


Instructions:
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Place the chicken in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • Place the chicken breasts, garlic, wine, chicken broth and mushrooms in the slow cooker.
