Tortellini Party Snacks

Large eggs
Grated Parmesan cheese
Panko bread crumbs
Dried oregano
Red pepper flakes
Sea salt
Freshly-ground black pepper
Garnishes: Melted butter, Parmesan cheese, red chili flakes, fresh parsley
Jar of marinara sauce (for dipping tortellini bites)
Easy appetizers and tortellini bites served on a tray.

  • Boil the tortellini al dente according to package instructions. Transfer cooked pasta to a colander and drain well.
  • Adjust oven rack to the center position. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Take out three shallow bowls, a spoon and a whisk. Pull out two large baking trays and line them silicone mats or parchment paper.
  • Fill the first bowl with flour. In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In the last bowl, add the Panko crumbs, grated Parmesan, chili flakes, oregano and a bit of salt and freshly-ground pepper; with clean hands or a spoon, mix well to combine.
